Baileys Harbor is located along Highway 57 on what the locals refers to as the quiet side of Door County. This small coastal town is a great destination for a relaxing vacation filled with outdoor activities such as fishing, kayaking and hiking. The Cana Island Lighthouse is one of Baileys Harbor's most popular attractions, with visitors able to explore the original keepers' house and the oil house where the keeper used to store the fuel for the light. The nearby Ridges Sanctuary is a 1200 acre nature preserve boasting over five miles (8 km) of hiking trails and 25 varieties of native wildflower. At the end of a day of outdoor exploration, Baileys Harbor offers waterfront dining, shopping and accommodations ranging from log cabins to full-service resorts.
